My entire coaching philosophy stems from this simple equation that I first saw outlined in a book called What Drives Winning by Brett Ledbetter.  This is the driving force behind how I strive to lead our team at Stanislaus State and our Futsal209 club.

 

I believe very strongly that People + Process + Performance = Results.  People drive the process, process drives the performance and performance drives the results.  Therefore we start with people!

 

As much as I love winning championships the development of people is really my purpose.  I describe this as my WHY. I want every player I coach to feel like they are closer to becoming the person they want to become.  We are a growth program as much as we are a soccer program.  

 

There is no doubt in my mind that this philosophy has been the main reason for our success here at Stan State.  Process and performance are important but you win with people.  You win with mentality.  You win with mindset.
